The Wow! Truck: http://twitter.com/thewowtruckWe are hosting a charity event to support our friends that have hit hard times and were left on the streets. This event is not only for them, but we are hoping to educate our friends and peers on a subject that is very near and dear to our hearts. Instead of spending all that money at a restaurant, bar or club, the proceeds of this event are going to a charity that assists the homeless to help them get off of the streets and provide them opportunities for success!
EHC LIFEBUILDERS (www.ehclifebuilders.org) is an organization in Silicon Valley that provides support to homeless indviduals. The term “lifebuilders” is essential when you want to help someone get off of the streets and regain their life. Food and shelter are not the only necessities that one needs in order to turn their life around. EHC also provides educational and vocational classes that will help these individuals return to their place in the job world.
If you would like to donate basic items to EHC there will be a donation bin at the event. They are ALWAYS looking for the items listed here on their website: http://www.ehclifebuilders.org/whatwedo/wish_list.php
