J. Dutch
Bay Area born songwriter and rap artist Dutch is armed with vocal tones, and a swagger powerful
enough to move a nation. His passion for rapping began at the young age of 12.
Dutch’s sound is as captivating as his diverse style and looks.
In 2002 he became part of two-some rap group known as BAV where he began to experiment
with his delivery, and his artistic side. He later joined ranks in 2005 with 4 other rappers calling
the group Cali Soldiers. Between 2005-2008, Dutch joined a rap group known as Street Legal.
As the groups came and split, it was becoming more evident that Dutch was strong enough
to stand as a solo artist.
As this rap phenomenon continues to dominate stages, and command the mic consistently,
he remains humble in heart with high hopes, to leave a permanent mark in the hip hop
world.
His 2009 released mixtape titled “Ladies and Gentlemen” has set the stage for parts two and three
releases “LG2, and LG3″ due for drop in late August 2010. This highly anticipated project has
expectations of creating a universal buzz throughout the music industry.
Dutch’s live performance has proven to be strong enough togenerate standing ovations, along
with lyrical crowd participation. He is still amazed at how many people actually knows his lyrics
when he performs a show.
“World’s greatest! They hate us first”, is the quote that many will recognize him by as he
turns every mic he touches into solid gold. With an upcoming tour in highlight,
this lyrical beast will be one tough act to follow.
